I’m back!

I am sorry I haven’t posted in a while.  I took a vacation to Iowa.  Yes, Iowa.  Sub-zero, frozen, flat, cold………..did I mention cold?  Actually my wife and I had a great trip.  Her parents live in Humboldt, IA which is about the size of Davidson.  We flew into Fort Dodge, IA which is about 15 minutes away from Humboldt and is the size of Concord.

It was nice being away from the daily grind and in a place other than home.  But, after having to drive three and a half hours Sunday to Minneapolis because our Fort Dodge flight was canceled due to ice, seeing about 8 wrecks on the interstate including 2 cars flipped over in the ditch and getting on that plane in 4 degree weather I can honestly say it is nice to be home.  We got off the plane at 10:30pm to 55 degree weather.

If you haven’t figured it out yet this is one of the reasons why people will continue to migrate to the Charlotte and Lake  Norman areas in the future.  We live in a  great spot and we will see continued growth on the other side of this housing depression.
